HEAVENLY TRAILS

Back in December, we lost our beloved Socks. Aunt Pat has been devastated ever since. Socks was born on the farm and was approximately 30 years old. He was always a part of the family and had quite the personality. He was happy with his dad Sonny and his best friend Jenny. He lost his dad about 2 years ago and was missing him. (Who says horses don’t have feelings!!) He has left behind his best friend. She is having a horrible time without him. R.I.P. Socks. We will all continue to miss you.

In late November, we were notified that Titan had passed away peacefully. He had made such an impact on his family’s hearts. The Podpura family took Titan in and gave him a wonderful life and he was very much loved. We offer his family our sincerest condolences. It is never easy to lose a beloved companion. Titan will be missed by us all. RIP Titan in your rainbow meadows.

Our Mission

Wild Acres Horse Rescue will help every at risk equine we can through rescue and surrender. They may be neglected, unhealthy, discarded, surrendered, etc. It doesn’t matter to us.

We will give that horse a second chance in life. We may be their only chance. Whether they are permanent residents or they follow our adoption process, we strive to find each horse a new loving home. We are aware that we cannot save every horse, the ones we do will forever change their lives.
